With this technique, colour transitions are created in a targeted fashion

Glass etching is often only associated with glass matting. For this purpose, however (as a rule), the sand-blasting technique is significantly more affordable.

The etching technique develops its advantages when it comes to processing the brilliant colours of the hand-blown authentic antique flash glass with virtuoso skill and achieving surprising effects and colour nuances.

In this process, the glass is treated with hydrofluoric acid in various amounts.
