As a result of the founding of the Rothkegel Glas GmbH, which took over operative business operations as of 1.1.2009, the Rothkegel glass studio with its long tradition was offered all-new opportuinities for further development. For the first time, one of the partners in the company - the graduate conservator Anne Kaiser with a degree from a University of Applied Sciences - is not a member of the family. This is a decisive contribution to enhancing the powers of innovation and preparing to make the company even more competitive at the highest level in the future. |

As third in his class at the CCI Würzburg-Schweinfurt, Matthias Rothkegel completes his training programme to become certified as a "Geprüften Technischen Betriebswirt (IHK) / Master Professional of Technical Management (CCI)" and for this receives the Master's Award from the Bavarian state government. |
2007 |
With the the graduate conservator Anne Kaiser, Rothkegel is the first commercial glass factory to hire a conservator with a degree from a University of Applied Sciences - to assure and enhance the quality of the conservation. |
2006 |
The founding of the company Rothkegel Licht GmbH places the independent development of the light-fixture manufactory with its long-standing tradition on a solid foundation in order to be able to embrace the innovative continuing developments in light-fixtures engineering without straying from the roots of custom solutions and craftsmanship. The divisions "Glass Design" and "Glass Conservation" remain with the company Glaswerkstätte Rothkegel e.K.. |

With Michael Rothkegel's retirement from his active position as of 31.12.2004, the transformation of the Glaswerkstätte & Leuchtenmanufaktur M. Rothkegel OHG to become the Glaswerkstätte & Leuchtenmanufaktur Rothkegel e.K. (with Matthias Rothkegel as the owner) takes place. As a matter of course, Michael Rothkegel remains available to assist our customers with his extensive expertise and experience. |
