A second graduate conservator now backs up our team

They are looking forward to working well together: the construction-site foreman Matthias Umkehr, the head conservator Dipl.-Rest. (FH) Anne Kaiser a graduate conservator holding a degree from a University of Applied Sciences, the new glass conservator Dipl.-Rest. (FH) Petra Ullrich (likewise graduate conservator holding a degree from a University of Applied Sciences), the assistant construction-site foreman Stephan Heinrich, the general manager Matthias Rothkegel, the assistant shop foreman Thomas Richter and the shop foreman Gerhard Winkler.

Already in 2007, we proved consistency with Dipl.-Rest. (FH) Anne Kaiser as we were the first commercial glassworks in Germany to hire a Diplomrestauratorin für Glasmalereien as a full-time salaried employee.

With the founding of the company Rothkegel Glas GmbH, Ms. Kaiser (as the head conservator) even became a co-partner in the company in 2009 – in order to sustainably root the thought of conservation in our enterprise.

In keeping with this consistency, the next step followed.

With Dipl.-Rest. (FH) Ms. Petra Ullrich, we will (as of September) continue to reinforce the conservatory competence of our glassworks team headed up by shop foreman Gerhard Winkler (who has worked for us since 1977) and the construction-site foreman Matthias Umkehr (who has worked for us since 1989).

What's more, in addition to her studies and her degree as a Dipl.-Glasrestauratorin, Ms. Ullrich is also a mater glass painter.
